Site Reliability Engineer — Las Vegas, NV. What you will do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of your core responsibilities as a Site Reliability Engineer, maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy and turnaround across every piece of work assigned to you.
- Partner with colleagues across Information Technology operations, quality and client-facing teams to remove blockers early and keep commitments realistic and transparent.
- Document your work clearly so that knowledge is shared, handovers are painless and the team is never dependent on a single individual.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying repetitive tasks, proposing better methods and helping to test and roll out the changes you suggest.
- Support onboarding, coaching and peer review for less experienced team members, sharing practical guidance rather than theory.
- Track and report on the metrics that matter to your function, and use that data to prioritise where your time is best spent each week.
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory, safety, privacy and internal governance standards relevant to the Information Technology sector in NV.
- Represent the business professionally with clients, suppliers, candidates and partners, both on site in Las Vegas and remotely.
A typical week
No two weeks look identical, but most follow a familiar rhythm. Mondays begin with a short team stand-up to align on priorities, capacity and any escalations carried over from the previous week. Midweek is generally your deepest delivery window, with protected focus time and fewer scheduled meetings so that complex work can progress without constant interruption. Thursdays are typically used for reviews, quality checks and collaboration with adjacent teams, and Fridays close the loop with reporting, documentation and planning for the week ahead. What we are looking for
- Demonstrable experience in a comparable Site Reliability Engineer or closely related position, ideally within the Information Technology sector or an equally demanding regulated environment.
- The relevant qualifications, licences or certifications required to practise in NV, or the clear ability to obtain them promptly with employer support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex issues simply to non-specialist audiences.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation habits, and a track record of delivering on commitments without needing to be chased.

Nice to have
Prior exposure to multi-site operations, experience mentoring junior colleagues, familiarity with automation or AI-assisted tooling, and bilingual communication skills are all viewed positively.
